Fall is in the air, so it’s time to start thinking about Friendsgiving!
This year, mix things up with some new and exciting ideas. From food to games, we’ve got you covered.
Check out our favorite ideas for a Friendsgiving party that your friends will love!
Let’s Get Started!
1. Start a Friendsgiving potluck tradition.
Assign each friend a dish to bring so you’re not stuck in the kitchen all day. Not only will this save you time and energy, but it’ll also give everyone a chance to show off their culinary skills! You can set up a themed buffet with all your favorite comfort foods. Creamy mashed potatoes, anyone?

2.Get crafty with your decor.
DIY some cute and festive centerpieces or place settings. Friendsgiving is the perfect excuse to break out the glitter and glue!
3. Put together a photo booth.
Write some fun prompts on paper and stick them in a jar. Guests can take turns pulling out a prompt and posing for the camera. Pro tip: use props like oversize glasses or mustaches to make it even more fun! Get the idea here

4. Organize a Secret Santa gift exchange.
This is a great way to get everyone involved in the holiday spirit without breaking the bank. Set a price limit and have each person draw another person’s name from a hat. The gifts can be gag gifts or something sentimental–it’s up to you!
5. Plan some fun outdoor activities.
If the weather permits, why not take advantage of it? Organize a group hike or walk in the park. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, plan a scavenger hunt!
6. Bring on the games!
Break out your favorite board games or country-themed party games like cornhole or horseshoes. And remember classic favorites like charades or Twister! Get more game ideas here.
7. S’mores, anyone?
If you have a fireplace or fire pit, roast some marshmallows and make gooey s’mores for dessert!
8. Have an at-home spa day.
Give yourselves mini manicures or pedicures and relax with face masks and cucumber water. You deserve it after all that cooking!
9. Make it a movie night!
Pop some popcorn, cozy under blankets, and queue up your favorite seasonal movies or TV shows on Netflix. I recommend classics like It’s A Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street–but feel free to break the mold with something newer like Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus or The Nightmare Before Christmas!
