Holidays are here and that means lots of parties with friends, family and co-workers. A great way to celebrate is with a White Elephant party!

Some might be wondering, what is a white elephant gift exchange?

A white elephant gift exchange is a party game where the party guests bring silly or practical wrapped gifts. Place the gifts in the center of the group and one at a time each guest get to pick a gift.

The goal of a white elephant party is usually to entertain rather than to gain. The other fun part is it is up to each guest if they would like to pick a new gift in the center of the pile or choose a gift that someone has already opened.

If you do pick a gift someone has opened already then that person can open a new gift, if the guest chooses to keep the gift then a new guest gets to open a new gift. It’s a silly party game that is so much fun to play.
