I created this resource page to easily list recommended services, products, and companies that I use and/or those I know are valuable. This way you can quickly find great products and services all in one place.
Disclosure: There are some affiliate links below, but these are all products I highly recommend. I won’t put anything on this page that I haven’t verified and/or personally used.
Be Your Own Boss & Work From Home Related Help
How to Start a Blog: Starting a blog and making money sounds like something only outgoing people and social media experts do. But to be honest, I’ve gotten to known some bloggers who started theirs just so they can quit their 9 to 5 jobs and travel the world full-time. That was a huge inspiration to me! I was craving being my own boss and working from anywhere in the world. The ideal laptop lifestyle! So I put together this post on How to Start a Blog! Its 5 easy steps and takes less than 15 minutes! If you are still debating starting a blog just go and read this, who knows it might just change your life!
Money Saving Websites
Ebates: Sign up for a website like Ebates where you can earn free CASH BACK for just spending like how you normally would online. All you do is click on a store that you want to shop through (they have TONS of stores such as Amazon, Target, Sephora, REI, Toys R Us, etc.), and shop just like how you normally would. Ebates makes a commission for referring you to the store you just shopped at, and they give you some of that money back as a thank you. Think of this as your best tool for this year’s holiday shopping! It’s never to early for a good deal! Plus, when you sign up through my link, you receive a free $10 cash back!
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing: I recommend checking out Michelle Schroeder-Gardner’s online course for bloggers, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. She earns over $50,000 a month through affiliate marketing. Michelle shares her EXACT strategy and tips in this very informative online course. If you’re a blogger (even if you’re a new blogger!), then you NEED this course. I am on my way to earning my first $1,000 income in my first 2 months of blogging from home. This hands down was the best decision I could have made for my blog to succeed!
PS. Michelle also gives includes the best bonus, the Ultimate Pinterest strategy and one of the top Pinterest earners Rosemarie, from The Busy Budgeter, explains her exact steps! This is a MUST HAVE for any blogger rookie or veteran!
Bluehost: If you’re looking to start a WordPress blog for cheap, then choosing Bluehost for your hosting needs may be your answer. Bluehost is one of the top web hosting companies in 2016 and you can start your own blog with them for just $3.49 a month! Also, if you sign up using my link, you will get your domain for FREE if you purchase a 12 month or longer blog hosting plan. Read How To Start A WordPress Blog On Bluehost.
Tailwind: Tailwind is relatively new company for me to use, but I am already going to say that I 100% love it. Tailwind allows you to schedule your Pinterest pins and look at the analytics related to that so that you can see what is working and what is not. It saves me a ton of time and allows me to grow my blog with minimal work. I literally spend a couple hours a week on it! It’s amazing since I can spend more time focusing on building a following and my page views triple since you can program it for the optimal times of the day! You get the first month FREE!
ConvertKit: ConvertKit is a MUST if you have a blog. It is a way for readers to subscribe to your blog posts and your newsletters. If you are currently using a free service such as Feedburner, you should switch immediately because that is the number one mistake bloggers make (and I made that mistake myself as well). Email marketing, when done correctly, can be a huge money maker and by using this program it will make you look very professional. You can request a FREE DEMO and for nothing test out their program!
PicMonkey: If you are like me, photoshop is not for you. I use PicMonkey for all of my pictures so that they are not boring stock photos. If you have seen any of my blog posts, you will notice that most of them are edited images. Using PicMonkey is also great because it can help new readers find you through websites such as Facebook and Pinterest if you have interesting and eye-catching photos. Most people click on sites because the picture captures their attention right away! It’s a perfect traffic tool! PicMonkey is also very affordable! You can buy their membership for just $2.75 per month and it comes with a lot of amazing features. I highly recommend PicMonkey and it’s something I use multiple times a week.
