Are you looking for a refreshing drink to quench your thirst?
This Rosemary Vanilla Lemonade is an elevated version of your favorite lemonade to keep you cool on a warm day.
The secret to making this lemonade is infusing fresh rosemary and vanilla into the simple syrup that when its combined with the lemon juice and cold water, it tastes sweet and tart.

I have a good obsession with lemonade that started when I was a kid. When I was writing this recipe, I had an immediate flashback of how I use to make my own lemonade stands when I was younger. My mom even says it was my first entrepreneurial endeavor.
Since I was a painfully shy kid, I would recruit my outgoing neighborhood friends to yell and gather customers while I stood behind the stand making batches of lemonade. I would make the lemonade with my mom’s assistance, and we would taste and taste and taste until I thought it was good to sell for $0.50 a cup. My mom and I would then go through all the expenses and see what our profit was and then I would split that with my friends. So it was a win-win.

And this Rosemary Vanilla Lemonade is also a win-win! It’s delicious served over ice, but it’s also amazing frozen into ice cubes that you can add to other favorite drinks.
Add them to ice tea to make a tasty Arnold Palmer or pour sparkling wine over the lemonade ice cubes for a fun twist on a mimosa!

Let’s Make Some Lemonade!
We’ll start with the rosemary vanilla infused simple syrup. In a medium pot, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, fresh rosemary, and vanilla extract. Bring everything to a boil so the sugar can dissolve fully.
Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the pot from the heat and let sit for 10-15 minutes to infuse the rosemary and vanilla together. Let the simple syrup cool to room temperature.
Strain and remove the rosemary from the simple syrup. It’ll be a golden amber color when it’s done.
To mix it all together, use a pitcher or large bowl stir together the simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and cold water.
Serve over ice with a sprig of rosemary for garnish and enjoy!
Another way to enjoy this lemonade recipe is to use it as the special ingredient in two cocktail recipes. These drinks are so delicious and impressive you’ll happily enjoy these Rosemary Vanilla Lemonade cocktails!
