Servings 4 people

  • 3 cups frozen strawberries organic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar

  1. In a food processor, Vitamix blender, place frozen strawberries and lemon juice. Blend.
  2. Blend for one or two minutes, the fruit will start to break down. Then scrape down the sides of the bowl. It is important to make sure everything is smooth and blended.
  3. Once the fruit is almost smooth and creamy, drizzle in the honey or agave nectar while the machine is still running. This will prevent the honey from clumping and settling to the bottom.
  4. After it’s been blended, place the sorbet into a Tupperware to store in freezer, or eat right away! At this point it will be cold but a little looser. It’s up to you whether you want it firmer.
  5. Sorbet can be stored for up to one month in freezer. Stay cool this summer.

Recipe Notes

**If the result is just too hard, let is sit out for a few min to soften or melt. This will make it easier for you to scoop and eat.

For popsicles, place the blended mixture into popsicle molds and then freeze for a cold treat by the pool.
