Rosemary Vanilla Lemonade

  • 1 cup granulated sugar for simple syrup
  • 1 cup water for simple syrup
  • 5 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cups cold water


  1. In a medium pot, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, fresh rosemary, and vanilla to create a simple syrup. Bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and let sit for 15 minutes to infuse the rosemary and vanilla together. Let the simple syrup cool to room temperature. 

  2. Strain and remove the rosemary from the simple syrup.

  3. In a pitcher or large bowl stir together the simple syrup, lemon juice, and cold water. Serve over ice with a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!
